PhilanTech [2005-present]: Work has been focused on PhilanTech’s flagship product "PhilanTrack". Working with the founder and subject matter expert, created the information architecture for both products, PhilanTrack for Foundations and PhilanTrack for Nonprofits, as well as the information architecture for the backend administrative interface. We worked with a graphical designer for the graphical design of the product that was based on Dannay Consulting’s initial concepts. Also supported PhilanTech in the development of the corporate website (revised design from a designer and built HTML templates), and with the customization of their online customer support application (leveraging Kayako). Screen shots are available via the company website for: PhilanTrack for Foundations, and PhilanTrack for Nonprofits. Biogen Idec [2007]: Dannay Consulting worked with Biogen Idec on the complete redesign of the user interface (information architecture and graphic design, HTML/CSS templates, cross browser testing) for Biogen's Internal Asset Management Application used by 6000+ employees. The redesigned/ re-architected application was rolled out last fall of 2007, and was well received by the users. This is a proprietary application, but earlier templates can be viewed on the Dannay Consulting server: Biogen-Idec - BAM Application Early Prototype Outside The Classroom [2005-2007]: Dannay Consulting has been working with Outside The Classroom since the summer of 2005 on a number of user interface design projects:
MVP Research [2005] Redesigned and developed an online human resource assessment tool based on a working prototype. Developed an Administrative and Reporting site to manage the tool configuration and results reporting. Deliverables included: IA/wireframe, graphic design, and working application in PHP, MySQL and HTML/CSS. MovieLink [2005]: Redesigned the user interface for a TV application where the primary input device was the remote control. Challenges were in balancing a new information architecture and incorporating additional functionality while working within constraints of existing technology. Deliverables included: IA/wireframes and UI specs. FAFCO/SunGrabber [2005]: Designed and developed a website for a new product launch. Traffic has increased 400% year over year. Deliverables: IA/wireframe, modified design, and website. As a later effort, designed and developed a complimentary customer support website. Deliverables included: research on “best in class” online customer service and recommendations, graphic design and website. Genuone [2004]: Redesigned the user interface for a suite of 5 related products. Key challenges were on keeping the same brand and experience through all products, while designing for range of operators (low-med technology background) and a range of operating environments (view from a distance for actions on a manufacturing line to office analysis of data). Deliverables included: task flows, wire frames, HTML prototype and a design/style guide. FAFCO, Inc. [2003]: Designed and developed a corporate website to enhance brand and lead generation. Created and implemented an online marketing strategy. Combined efforts have increased lead generation almost 90% year over year at only a 10% increase in marketing costs. Deliverables included: IA/wireframes, graphic design, style guide, website, online marketing strategy. FAFCO, Inc. [2003-2004]: Designed and developed a portal to for sales and lead management.
